FutureStrings Academy

Monty Bloom is the founder and director of the Future Strings Academy in Davie, FL, specializing in teaching violin to all ages and levels. He has been playing the violin since the age of four, and gave his first public performance at the age of seven. He has soloed with numerous orchestras since, and graduated from the Eastman School of Music with Charles Cattleman as his teacher. Prior to attending Eastman, his primary teachers were Alvin Rudnitsky and Thomas Moore. He has been teaching students for over 15 years, with many winning full scholarships to summer festivals, prep schools, and universities. Monty Bloom is a prominent performer throughout South Florida and beyond, performing both the classical and electric violins at events, parties, and concerts. He is also an active recording artist, with songs for stream and/or purchase on most major platforms. Lessons are available at his home/studio in Davie, FL,a s well as group classes and workshops.
